Passion Project
Sororidad
In 2020 VTP (Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy) was made legal in Argentina after a long fight for women's rights. Two years later, however, women all over the country are still struggling access to legal, safe and free abortions. Sororidad is a service design concept that seeks to tackle some of these issues and find solutions to make the abortion process more human.
GETTING TO KNOW OUR USER
Research for this project began with in-depth interviews of health professionals, advocates, and women who had undergone abortions. Additionally, I conducted extensive literature reviews, including articles, books, and data studies, to map the user journey from the moment a woman finds out she is pregnant until she fully recovers.
Welcome to
Our Sisterhood
Sororidad is a service seeks to tackle some of the issues that the research had identified: a lack of centralized resources, the need for emotional support, for easy access to information on providers and the general feeling of alienation that most women had reported.
TOOLS

APP FLOW MAP
THE EASIEST WAY TO FIND
TRUST-WORTHY PROVIDERS NEAR YOU
Our interactive map allows you to find providers near you and access their contact details.
By incorporating a review system from past patients, we also promote transparency and uphold providers to higher standards.
ALL OUR RESOURCES
RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIP
You don't need to create an account in order to access our free resources, find providers or learn more about VTP.
MAKING ACCESS TO INFORMATION
MORE STRAIGHTFORWARD
We know how overwhelming it can be to find trust-worthy information online. By incorporating a Virtual Assistant chat that answers questions, we can help make access simpler, faster and more accurate.
CONNECT WITH WOMEN WHO UNDERSTAND
At the core of Sororidad is its sisterhood (that is the literal translation of the word). We wanted to offer women not onlyt the chance to talk to someone who would listen without judgement, but also the opportunity to advocate and do the same for others as part of their recovery.
A COMMUNITY-BUILT
PLATFORM
One of Sororidad's goals is to change the narrative around abortion by giving a platform for women who had one and want to help make a change.
